The location is stunning, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the lounge is very nice and relaxing
Althought the hotel has been open for 3 years it still had a feeling of not being quite finished, the steam room was not working, neither was the shower in the spa, the outdoor pool needed final finishes to the floor . I would also comment that our bill contained a charge for the spa which I was unaware of as an additional charge .

Spent Christmas at a hotel with stunning views of the lake and mountains. the staff was friendly and welcoming. the indoor pool and the spa treatments were the best things that I enjoyed. the food was also tasty and well cooked. the hotel is located in a peaceful and remote location with easy access to the town.
The room was a bit old-fashioned and lacking in sufficient lighting. the mattress was too soft for my liking and had a dip in the middle.

From first entering the Hotel until leaving two days later the staff were efficient and totally put you at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. The Rooms were spotless and of good size. The views of the lake and distant hills / mountains can only be described as magnificent. The sunsets viewed from the Terrace and Restaurant made the two day stay something special. Two evening meals taken were of excellant quality and made of fresh ingredients. The wine list, although not vast held wines of good quality. All in all this Hotel is a hidden Gem, off the main tourist routes in Andalucia but worth a detour to enjoy.

Great views of turquoise reservoir waters and beautiful surroundings, perfect for relaxation. The reception and restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. The spa baths on the property are a great way to relax and the air conditioning was pretty good.
The hotel lacked attention to detail in certain areas, with inadequate air conditioning in some rooms. The menu was strictly Spanish and breakfast lacked variety with limited options.

This hotel is in a beautiful location and certainly deserves a higher star rating. The staff made us very welcome and did everything to make our stay a memorable one. The evening meal was excellent as was breakfast the next morning. We would certainly book this hotel again and take friends with us. Ideal for a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing break.
Nothing - it was excellent value

For two days in July we were the only guests in the hotel, a rather strange experience. However the kindness and warmth of the staff ensured that all our needs were fully met.
Disappointing to find that the pool which looked so enticing on the website was not in use.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful swimming pool and a lovely library area that offered great views. The location on the shore of Lake Negratin provided breathtaking views, especially from our terrace. The staff were the best we have ever come across, always greeting us with warm smiles and going above and beyond to assist us. We also enjoyed a well-cooked and plentiful evening meal, and the continental breakfast offered unbeatable value.
Nothing, everything was great.

The attention of the staff. The location is simply lovely with great views over the Lake Negratin. The dinner was excellent with special regard to the salads. The hotel pool is on a raised area and also provides great views over the lake. The rooms seemed all to be good sized and individual.
Breakfast was very basic.
